Wicked at the John F. Kennedy Center ~ Radio station presale link

For those of you that are interested in seeing Wicked at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington DC, here's a tip.  You don't need to wait until March 13th at noon to get tickets, if you're not a subscriber.  I received an email from radio station Hot 99.5 that there is a presale going on right now.

I saw Wicked in 2009, at the the Apollo Victoria Theatre, when I was working in London.  It was AMAZING. 

Ayway, since I know Wicked sold out easily the last time it came to the DC area, I thought I'd give you early birds a hint as to how to get your tickets earlier as opposed to later. 

Wicked will be at the Kennedy Center from June 15 to August 21.  The show is 2 hours, 45 minutes.  Ticket prices are: $37.00 - $250.00.

"Officially" tickets are only on sale to members of the Kennedy Center now, but like I said, using the link above you can score them in the presale.

Prince Welcome 2 America tickets are on sale tomorrow, presale NOW

I just scored my tickets to see Prince and his Welcome 2 America tour in New Jersey and in New York.  I have 4 tickets to the Friday, December 17 show at the Izod Center and 1 ticket to the December 18 show at Madison Square Garden (aka MSG).

According to Rolling Stone, guests Maceo Parker, Cassandra Wilson, Janelle Monae, Sheila E., Mint Condition, Esperanza Spalding, Sinbad, the New Power Generation and more will join Prince at the shows.  I actually had Prince on the brain recently since I was just at the Rio Las Vegas Hotel and Casino and remember his shows at 3121.  I for one am very excited that he's back on tour.

Right now there are only a few dates that have been announced.

Duke v Butler rematch at Meadowlands on sale Monday, presale Friday

I just received an email from the Meadowlands.  They're hosting an NCAA Basketball Doubleheader on Saturday, December 4.

The matchups are:

Army vs. Penn - Noon
Duke vs. Butler - 3:30 PM

For those of you that don't remember.  Duke beat Butler in a 61-59, to win its 4th National Championship and end Butler's run through the NCAA basketball tournament.

Tickets for the doubleheader are $78.50

Tickets go on sale to the general public Monday, June 14 at 11AM
